The event co-ordinator will assist tenants and external clients with events and programming that occur at The Gasworks. They will help maintain the cleanliness of The Gasworks. They will also identify and implement events that further the mission of The Gasworks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare the event space beforehand to make sure the client has what they need
  • Connect with clients to help them access all relevant aspects of the venue
  • Provide technical support for sound, lighting, and video during events
  • Identify potential safety hazards or spills that occur during an event and immediately respond
  • Clean and lock up all equipment after an event
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of The Gasworks
  • Identify community groups in Hamilton that are looking for event space
  • Implement unique programming that meets the needs of the Hamilton community
  • Other tasks related to The Gasworks as necessary
